About Us
Larry and Ramona are both 40-something friends who found each other through a mutual friend (thanks Trish!). Neither had any idea how they would come to love each other, and share their passion for getting out in the woods and hiking around. They both live near Portland Oregon. Almost all of their hikes are in Oregon, unless stated otherwise in the post for the hike.
Larry records his hikes using GPS Logger for BlackBerry which is a free program. He used to use EveryTrail’s app but it was just too buggy and they don’t support it.
He also takes most of the pictures with his BlackBerry Storm 2 cellphone. For a 3.2 megapixel camera the pictures turn out surprisingly well. The better pictures are taken by Ramona with her 5MP camera. If someone wants to donate a digital SLR camera so we can take awesome pictures, I will credit your name in this space and be ever so grateful
